The scientific evidence is clear: climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time, but also one of the greatest opportunities. The Government of Canada is seeking views and ideas from Canadians, including Indigenous peoples, on how to address climate change and promote clean growth in Canada. Please join me on August 22nd for a town hall at 6:00pm at Queen Elizabeth Park Community Centre, to share ideas about what governments and individuals can do to reduce and adapt to climate change.

I’m asking for your constructive ideas about:

  • How and where to reduce emissions
  • Ideas for new technology and job creation
  • How to put a price on carbon
  • Preparing for the impacts of climate change
  • General ideas on climate change reduction

After the town hall, we’ll be sharing notes to Environment and Climate Change Canada and Minister McKenna directly.

The town hall will last about an hour and a half.

Please complete the form below to RSVP. Can’t make it? Submit your ideas to John here.
